We hold a safe space for self-exploration and shared processing to understand individual motivation, communication, support, and development needs. The team has an opportunity to focus on what it needs to strengthen and expand its impact at the organization.
The Enneagram is a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people interpret the world and manage their emotions.
We use exploration and exercises to identify team strengths and learning/growth opportunities. For example, one team member might be a good public speaker and feels energized when they are presenting, one might feel best when helping to develop others and can take on mentoring & cross-training responsibilities, and yet another handles planning well. These insights help you leverage talent and motivation to drive progress strategically.
We can use some of these questions as the basis for exploration.
How do we recognize when we are at our best and thriving?
What do we want to learn from each other? How do we help each other grow?
What type of individual do we want to recruit to help balance out the team?
How do we upskill to grow our influence across the organization?

Workshop Information
Pre-workshop prep
Each team member self-identifies as a type using provided Enneagram Inventory provided by Touchstones.
Each Member receives an Enneagram Type Guide for their type.
Pre-workshop Session - Understanding the Enneagram
One-hour session to understand the enneagram and how to understand your type.
One 3-hour workshop for the team:
Part 1 - Personal exploration and sharing - learning about each individual, communication preferences, motivations, surprises, etc.
Part 2 - Team Exercise - Team mapping and exploration based on your stated goals
Using a mapping of the team’s types and what we just learned, we’ll use a model based on Appreciative Inquiry (the other AI) and identify the team’s strengths and aspirations to draw out what outcomes look like as we unlock the team’s potential.
