Team Refresh - Discovery & Self-Awareness
This workshop begins the team’s journey into exploration. To understand each other, we must understand ourselves first. Using the Enneagram for self-exploration helps us go beyond the typical personality assessments. We delve into the implicit motivations that help us understand why we behave the way we do, not just the expression of our personalities. The Enneagram provides the tool to help us navigate that self-exploration.
Once we learn about ourselves, our motivations, and our automatic behaviors, we can better share what we need when we need help, how we best communicate, and what energizes us. We’ll discuss together how we help each other, what signals help us activate support, and specifics on what we each do to help bring out the amazing in each other.
We complete a Team Map that shows where the whole team is in the different areas of the map and identify gaps and what the team needs to do to fill those gaps if they cause blindspots or threats.
And finally, we end with specific practices that each person will experiment with - for personal growth and greater team collaboration.
