SUPER CHARGE YOUR TEAM

Unlock your team’s true potential

At the heart of every successful venture, you’ll find a great team. These exceptional teams are more than just a collection of individuals; they are the driving force behind extraordinary achievements. The work that great teams do to be great is nothing short of inspiring.

At Touchstones, we are passionate about helping teams reach their full potential. Our mission is to empower organizations with the tools and insights they need to foster greatness within their teams. Our new Super Charge Your Team series is designed to cultivate the conditions for your team to thrive together and ultimately deliver greater value to the organization.

This series of immersive workshops combines learning, practicing, and experiencing together to leverage each other’s intelligence and insights for a shared purpose and commitment to excelling together. Our Super Charge Your Team series is great for:

What sets teams apart is their unwavering commitment to collaboration, communication, and a shared vision. They understand that greatness is not a solitary pursuit but a collective journey, where each member’s unique strengths and talents are harnessed to create something truly remarkable.

Great teams foster an environment where everyone feels valued and heard, empowering individuals to bring their best selves to the table.

But it's not just about camaraderie and unity; great teams are unafraid of constructive conflict. They recognize that disagreements can lead to better solutions and growth, as long as they are approached with respect and an open mind.

Communication is the lifeblood of great teams. They become adept at sharing knowledge, ideas, and feedback openly and transparently. This fosters a culture of continuous learning and adaptation, enabling them to stay ahead in a rapidly changing world.

A great team can thrive even in disruption, stand together in resilience, and become catalysts for innovation.

What do great teams do?

The workshops are designed to be immersive experiences, holding the space for your team to do the work to build and establish a thriving environment that encourages innovation.

In a highly tuned learning environment, we use different sensory experiences to help the team make deep connections.

Each workshop is structured for learning about mindset shifts & practices, story-telling, discussion, experimenting, and experiencing.

The formats are adaptive to the emergent needs of the team and are crafted for optimal learning and embodiment of the concepts.

This series will help your team elevate how they work together.

The Workshops

This is a series of workshops design to unlock your team’s true potential. Delivery is flexible in timing - meaning, we can deliver all of them within 4 weeks or 4 months to support your availability needs. You can also choose to “try” one on first by selecting an individual workshop and get a taste for the experience and then choose the remaining at the series fee. The fees include an initial get-to-know-you meeting to discuss specifics that will help deliver the best experience, and any pre- and post- workshop materials and communication.

Below are the individual workshop descriptions, along with the series description. If you’d like to set up some time before making your decision, please use this link to set up some time to discuss your needs.

This workshop uses the Enneagram as a starting point for self-exploration and a deeper understanding of our motivations. This work is uniquely suited for teams as it helps us reflect on our automatic behaviors with a lens on intrinsic motivations based on deeply rooted core beliefs, passions, and fears.

We learn about each other more intimately, when we need help, and what thriving looks like for us. We answer questions about what makes us feel vulnerable and what do we need when we are struggling. This provides insights and understanding that unlocks the team’s ability to communicate our needs, step in when we need each other, and to leverage each other’s passions and strengths as a team.

Learning objectives and outcomes: Clearer communication, developing trust, greater collaboration, smoother team operations, increased psychological safety.

The Team Strengths and Map workshop is based on four big insights from the modern psychology of success:

  • People perform best when they focus on their strengths.

  • How we perform is driven by our mindset (the stories we tell ourselves.)

  • Diversity makes teams stronger.

  • People interact and communicate in different ways.

We use learning tools and activities to identify individual strengths and then map the team to observe where the team is strong and where it needs support. This is useful to help the team learn and develop new skills, to make hiring decisions that help round out the team, and even to create an approach to how we can have the greatest impact.

Learning objectives and outcomes: Identifying individual and collective strengths, skills or competency gaps, clear team profile, inputs into strategy to increase organizational influence, productivity, and effectiveness.

The Team Operating System workshop gets to the core of why we’re even a team! How many people ask that question - what are we up to here? What is our purpose? So many teams are brought together without ever intentionally asking those questions and we putter around for a long time just trying to make the pieces work. Imagine the power of deciding together what is your purpose, what is the team’s superpower, who do you serve and what does success look like?

We’ll go further into how we work best together. If we’ve taken the previous workshops, we already have powerful insights into what makes up this team. We’ll use that to build a strong alliance that supports the team specifically and practices to help finetune that alliance over time to continue to improve how the team works.

Learning objectives and outcomes: Clear team purpose, greater connection with customers, clear list of services that the team provides, established cadence and practices, and guardrails.

Now we’re at the good stuff! This workshop is usually very eye-opening and satisfying to leaders and teams. Through learning and practice on decision-making, you typically learn that your team wants more responsibility - that they don’t want to ask you for direction all the time. We often overlook one of our primary motivators as knowledge workers - autonomy. Or we simply don’t know how to talk about what that looks like practically.

This workshop makes the space to not only learn about decision-making structures that better support a self-managing team, but we clearly identify ownership and levels of responsibilities. This makes for an amazing journey to decentralize decision-making, increase ownership and autonomy, and open up the leader to spend more time doing what’s important - nurturing and growing the team.

Learning objectives and outcomes: Learn and practice decision-making structure for complex decisions that are #safetotry, align on decision-rights for everyday decisions between team and leader, speed up team decision-making, increase autonomy and individual and team ownership.

The Series - Super Charge your team!

These workshops were designed to be a series that progresses from individual self-awareness to team strengths mapping, designing a team alliance and cadence, and finally to delegation and decision-making. It’s a journey that takes us from learning about each individual, garnering our strengths, and then building an operating system that will catapult the team to excellence.

This time together grounds the team in an environment of trust and collaboration and fosters the psychological safety needed to drive this work forward. You may decide to move forward with the entire series now or try on a workshop with your team before deciding to take on the entire series. Click below to understand how the series works.

Learning objectives and outcomes: The complete series provides the team the space, guidance, and shared connection to together explore personal motivations, passions, and behaviors, identify the team’s strengths, define the team’s purpose, operating practices and rhythm, and use decision-rights to increase productivity and effectiveness.
